To run your account, Keep Reminded stores your name, email address, and password (encrypted, never in plain text). To run the reminders themselves, it stores what you add to them: reminder titles, dates, category-specific fields, notes, and any files you attach.
If you sign in with Google, we store the account identifier Google gives us for that login — we don't receive your Google password.
We don't sell your data. We don't share your renewal dates or account details with advertisers or data brokers. No ad network reads what you track. Your account isn't used to build a profile for anyone but you.
Your data exists to make Keep Reminded work: computing whether a reminder is upcoming, due, or overdue; sending you the notification you asked for; and letting you search and browse what you've tracked. That's the whole reason it's stored.
If you enable push notifications, your browser holds a subscription endpoint we use solely to deliver your own reminders to you. You can disable this at any time from Settings → Notifications.
You can export everything you've tracked from Settings → Profile at any time. Deleting your account permanently removes your reminders, attachments, and account data — this isn't held hostage to keep you subscribed.
Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing, and all traffic to Keep Reminded is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your renewal data with the same care we'd want for our own.
If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is used, we'll let you know before it takes effect.
